Wasting Away

Just wasting some time while we wait for the last big game of the regular season … kick-off for the ND-Stanford game is not until around 8PM tonight, so I found some time to sit in front of the computer today. I updated the graphic up top … just needed a change I guess. Maybe one of these days I’ll get Frontpage and really start spicing up things. That'll take some time though ... so wait and see.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our “cool wright stuff” page – I just added our top ten all-time favorite tunes. Remember the story about the music tastes of W? Well, these are some of our favorites … as they stand today of course. Just thought I’d get them out there.

Oh yeah, speaking of music, just recently bought “Barenaked for the Holidays” by the Barenaked Ladies (“BNL” for the kids). Since I have never owned any Christmas music, I thought it was about time. And why not start with one of my favorites groups (they made my top ten)?. I think this BNL Christmas CD was released last year, but hey, it should be good. Also just purchased “The Vanity Project” by Steven Page (lead singer of BNL) … certainly not as good as your everyday BNL, but okay. The only track I really like is No. 2 – “Wilted Rose.” When I played it for Dale, he guessed it was BNL before Steven Page even started singing, so I guess this CD does still have the same sound as the ladies. Sounds like Page is back with them recording a new album now … looking forward to that being released.
