Irish ... BCS Bound!

Wow. Didn’t think that game was going to be as close as it was … ESPN already has it posted exactly right: “Notre Dame fans, breathe.” Notre Dame 38, Stanford 31. ND: one missed extra point (that almost was the difference of the game) and two missed field goals. Ouch. After Stanford scored a touchdown to go up 31-30, Brady Quinn drove the team down the field in less than two minutes, ending with a touchdown run by Darius Walker.

What a great win – now we can enjoy the rest of the weekend and look forward to see ND in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Day. Go Irish!
